It's nice to know that there are other christian people who believe in the sufficiency of scripture and the sovereignty of God, and don't endorse authoritarian statism. I am not the only one who "doesn't care if kids can get drugs" as I have been misslabeled by some of my christian freinds.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11738269.post-19339865775646153402012-11-30T10:15:34.289-06:002012-11-30T10:15:34.289-06:00Thank you for your comments. Where in Scripture does our Lord place more value in an American life than of people in the middle east? We should be sending missionaries not Predator drones with Hellfite missiles.

I get somewhat why Pelagians support Romney but cant understand why more Calvinist, especially the wiser Baptist kind :-), did not support Ron Paul.

We have lost our liberty and too many believers have turned to a soverign state instead of a Soverign Lord in my humble opinion. I didn't know Paul meant "Having been justified by voting for Mitt Romney because if you don't vote for Romney it's a vote for Mr. Obama and he's evil, etc., etc....., we have peace with God..." when he wrote Romans 5:1.

i spoke at a prison last night about Peter's "Honor the emperor" statement in 1 Peter 2 as it concerns our civil authorities - including Mr. Obama, whether or not one agrees with him - and one prisoner turned around and stomped out.

This election has gotten a little crazy, don't you think?Jeff Petersonhttp://thelightheartedcalvinist.comnoreply@blogger.com
