yep - the standard "God predestined a plan" answer. God had no idea which individuals would come to believe - after all, He would be a big meanie to create people who He knew were certainly going to Hell - so He predestined the plan that every believer would be saved, whoever they might be.
doesn't make sense to me logically - if pressed, i'm sure they would say that they do believe God knows the future, which guts their argument - but i guess it's nothing new.
